Rev. John Bush is married to Jeanette, and they have three
young adult children: J.T., Jeffrey, and Jennifer. John has been in full time ministry since May of 1971. He has served as Pastor, Youth Pastor, Summer Missionary, and
as Church Planter in Alabama, Missouri, Iowa, and California. John has a passion for evangelism and
discipleship. When he is not "on the road" directing festivals,
he is actively involved in his home church - First Baptist Church in
Montgomery, AL.
After traveling across Alabama for several years leading in revivals and training churches how to evangelize outside the walls of their church buildings through Block Parties, God laid a burden on John's heart to begin rallying churches in small towns to come together and go fishing after men in a bigger way. He sensed God calling him to show churches how they could reach people by putting on an event that would attract the unchurched and lost where they could hear the Good News. Having served with
Evangelist Dean Forrest on staff at Pike Road Baptist Church in Pike Road, Alabama, God fitted them to begin
Across Festivals in January, 2003. These are exciting days, and it is truly Harvest Time!
