Change 4 Harvest is a funding program to help God-called Southern Baptist Evangelists impact the world with the Gospel. Participants in the program donate their daily pocket change for a specified time. The suggested commitment would be for four days, four weeks, or four months determined by the project need.

All evangelists participating in the program are endorsed by the North American Mission Board and have pledged to utilize all funds donated through the Change 4 Harvest program in one of the following ways:

Baptism Assistance Project

In 2008, Thirty-Thousand Southern Baptist Churches did not report one baptism in the annual book of reports. The Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, in association with the North American Mission Board, have committed to assisting churches in reaching people for Christ. If a church has reported 3 or fewer baptisms over the past three years, they may request for a God-called harvest Evangelist to come to their church. Your Change 4 Harvest donation may be used to help cover the expenses of assisting one of these churches.

Area Wide Evangelistic Events

Many evangelists depend on love offerings received at church events for the complete livelihood of their families as well as the ongoing expenses of their evangelistic associations. Many have a desire to be involved in proclaiming the Gospel in public settings through area wide evangelistic crusades, celebrations and festivals. These type events require months of preparation, multiple staff positions, and venue expenses. Your Change 4 Harvest contribution may allow an evangelist to share the Gospel with thousands of people outside the walls of your church at sport stadiums, arenas and auditoriums.

International Mission Projects

Many evangelists have a passion to serve God around the world through short term mission projects. Some evangelists train pastors, others lead medical mission teams, others utilize sport clinics, and the list goes on. Support for such projects must be raised beyond the evangelists livelihood. Your donation through Change 4 Harvest may help an evangelist carry the Gospel, literally, around the world.

PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS

Receive a Change 4 Harvest label and card from a participating evangelist or evangelistic association.

Place the label on a jar or cup of your choice as the container for the program.

Simply put your pocket change into the container every day.

Bring the container to collection point on the day listed on your Change 4 Harvest card.
